NELMA Welcomes 10th Inspector

The Association is proud to announce the addition of Jason Ostrem of Cochrane, Wisconsin to the NELMA staff as Inspector, effective September 10. Following a three-week orientation and training program supervised by Marc Moore, Director of Inspection Services, Jason will provide export wood packaging inspection services to NELMA’s customers located in North Dakota, Southern Minnesota, Iowa, and Western Wisconsin.
 
Over the next year he will also receive training in dimension lumber grading with the goal of becoming the Association’s second certified grader located within the region.
 
Jason is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Stout with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology. Prior to NELMA, his work experience included 14 years with Wal-Mart Corporation, primarily in the supervisory capacity within their Regional Distribution Center.
 
Please join us in welcoming Jason, his wife Cindy, and their two children, Tristan (age 4) and Isabelle (age 6), to the expanding NELMA family!
