What will wood products at the retail store look like in 2028? ProSales magazine takes an in-depth look at this question in its September issue with an examination of the trends and factors that may influence the future production of the North American forest industry. ProSales editor Craig Webb traveled extensively across the U.S. and Canada this year  to talk with industry insiders about key issues that will shape our industry in the years ahead. This included stops at the NELMA HQ Office in Cumberland, Maine and a few sawmills in the Northeastern region of the U.S..

The article tackles a wide variety of topics and includes a side-bar look at “Grade Inflation”, the age-old question and mind-set that the quality of lumber is decreasing therefore the grade rules must be changing.
