In the late 1940’s, NELMA produced a short documentary on lumber, titled “Story of Wood in the Northeast”.  This 25 minute film shows some of the early processes, markets and technologies in the lumber industry at that time. It’s a classic that not only presents an interesting perspective on the industry, but showcases how innovative NELMA was in promoting the industry in general.
