NELMA Adds Staff to HQ Office

NELMA is pleased to officially announce the hiring of Ken Sweet to fill the vacant Administrative Assistant position within the HQ Office in Cumberland, Maine.  Ken’s full-time employment follows a successful internship at the Association that began in July.Ken-web

His job duties will include working with NELMA’s wood packaging customers for IPPC, Dunnage, and HT stamp ordering and record maintenance, maintaining NELMA’s ongoing mill shipment records and data files, online educational program management that includes the NELMA Grader Academy, special project oversight to include the new Lumber Industry Recruitment Tools Development program, and assistance in the reactivation of the NELMA Institute.  In addition, he will be trained as a WPM Inspector to provide customer services to facilities located in Southern Maine.

Ken is a Portland, Maine native and a 2017 graduate from Husson University in Bangor, Maine where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.  His work experience includes retail sales with several major companies including Lowes.
