Mark Your 2012 Calendars!

Join NELMA members and friends April 26 & 27 for the Association's 2012 Convention to be held at the Seaport Hotel in Boston.  Located on the waterfront in the bustling Seaport District, this hotel not only provides luxury accommodations with dazzling city and harbor views, but also incredibly convenient access to all major points of interest including Faneuil Hall / Quincy Market and the North End.  Just minutes from Logan International Airport and with their own MBTA and water taxi stops, it’s easy to get where you want to go while visiting Boston!

Meeting preparations are well underway and NELMA is pleased to announce the following confirmed guest appearances during the Convention: 

Jim “The Rookie” Morris, former major league baseball player and subject of the movie The Rookie.  His unconventional path to the MLB professional ranks at the age of 35 reminds us that it’s never too late to believe in – and achieve – your dreams!

 

 

Steve Thomas, Emmy Award-winning television personality and former host of the home improvement shows This Old House and Renovation Nation.  Known as the “ultimate home enthusiast”, Steve, while hosting This Old House for 14 years, helped catapult the series to the top of PBS’s list of most-watched ongoing series of all time.  In addition, he contributed to the successful debut of Ask This Old House.  Steve also hosted and co-produced the Save Our History series on The History Channel.

2012 FALL BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING and GOLF OUTING - September 20 & 21 - York Harbor, ME

In 2012 NELMA returns to lovely York Harbor, Maine and the York Harbor Inn on September 20 & 21 for the annual Fall Board of Directors Meeting and Golf Outing.

With some of the best course conditions in Southern Maine and a motto of “Fabulous Fairways, Food and Friends” golfers will enjoy a day on the beautifully maintained classic New England Style golf course at Cape Neddick Country Club on Thursday, September 20^th.
