Safety is always of major concern in the workpace and good safety records should be commended. NELMA would like to help celebrate your employees safety accomplishments! 

Member mills are encouraged to submit their 2011 safety figures for the 2012 NELMA Safety Awards competition.   It’s easy to participate!  Just take a few moments to transfer the figures from your annual OSHA reporting forms to the Safety Awards Survey form.  Fax (207-829-4293) or mail the completed form to NELMA (P.O. Box 87A, Cumberland, ME 04021) before the February 24, 2012 deadline.  

An accident free year is not necessary to participate. Award categories are based on mill size and man hours. All figures are kept confidential.

Awards will be presented during the 2012 NELMA Annual Convention on Friday morning, April 27, at the Seaport Hotel in Boston.
