Heat Treatment and “The Walking Dead”

For all of those that are involved with the  heat treatment of wood and just happen to be fans of The Walking Dead series that airs on the AMC Channel, here’s a bit of reality thrown in with the fictitious that you may have missed…….the apparent re-use of IPPC HT-stamped crates!  Check out the scene shot below (click on the photo for larger view) from the program’s Season 4, Episode 1 that was broadcast on October 13.  While it doesn’t appear to be a US IPPC stamp, it’s good to see that even in an apocalyptic, zombie-crazed world, properly heat treated and stamped wood packaging will still live on!
