Machinery Sales, Remote/Eastern USA

Responsibilities: Develops and recommends pricing strategy, including product positioning, development of product lines and standardized upgrade programs for deployment to furniture and cabinet shops. Develops direct relationships with shops and plants to foster increased market presence, collect feedback about existing products, and to learn more about the market. Supports collaboration and coordination between other cross-functional departments including the Administrative, Production, and Marketing organizations. Develops and builds internal capabilities to deliver pricing & growth targets for woodworking machinery sales as well as monthly sales targets for sales. Works collaboratively with the Marketing team to develop both digital and print collateral that is used to help close deals and encourage upgrades. “Primary responsibilities will be conducting timber harvest marking and layout, contract crew inspections and supervision, as well as completing forest inventories, boundary marking (including collecting GPS field data), recordkeeping and maintaining files. Field time may, at times, consist of out-of-town work. We are seeking a highly-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. A minimum of a two-year forestry degree is required. An additional three to five years’ experience in this and/or a similar forestry field is preferred. Computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, as well as good written and verbal communication skills, are required. Experience with GIS is a plus. The selected individual will need to live in the region.”
