Softwood lumber shipments through the first 3 Quarters of 2013 by NELMA’s Member Mills totaled 674 Million Board Feet (MMBF), the highest overall total since 2007. Dimension lumber led the way with 371 MMBF shipped through September, with Eastern White Pine at 303 MMBF. When compared with the same period in 2012, Dimension lumber shipments are up 17% and Eastern White Pine ahead by 7%.
