Modern Castle Leans Hard on Wood Interior

This medieval-style home (for sale if you are looking) in southern Missouri contains ’70s-style wood paneling.

The long driveway is blocked by wrought-iron gates and guarded by stone lion sculptures (of course). Features include balconies (or battlements) in the front and back of the home, each with their own gargoyles (sigh). The 36-acre estate also contains two ponds (moat anyone?). The intricate stone facade stands in stark contrast with the inside, which is mostly wood paneling. Although built in 1995, the eye-catching interior is a timeless classic far from knights and dragons.  And, yes, it has a dungeon.
