Film Looks to Document Family Run Lumber Mills

The Northeastern Lumber Manufacturers Association (NELMA) premiered a preview of a new film called Lumber & Sons at their annual convention last week. The short preview is part of a concept project being spearheaded by NELMA and their marketing partner The SOAP Group to produce a feature length documentary on the history, traditions and impact of family run lumber mills in the area. The film touches on issues of business decision making, legacy building and sustainable forestry.

NELMA is currently working on funding opportunities to complete the full feature-length documentary.

Below is a preview of this important documentary.
